What is Yoga Therapy?

Yoga Therapy is a holistic practice that combines mindful movement, breathing exercises, relaxation techniques, and meditation to create harmony between body, mind, and spirit. It improves flexibility, balance, and circulation while calming the nervous system and supporting natural healing. Through consistent practice, Yoga Therapy enhances overall well-being, strengthens immunity, and promotes clarity of mind and emotional resilience.

At Sun Institute, our Yoga Therapy program is taught in the Body & Brain Yoga and Tai Chi style—a modern “fusion” of yoga and tai chi that originates from ancient Korean holistic health and wellness traditions. This unique style blends mindful movement, breathing, energy training, and meditation to bring balance and vitality to both body and mind.
